Configuration File

The SuperTux configuration file is used internally to store user settings, commonly found in the Options menu.

It needs to be edited manually to enable features such as Developer Mode.

The location of the configuration file depends on the version of SuperTux as well as your operating system. The file is named config and can be found in the directories listed below.

Linux

  • ~/.local/share/supertux2/ (most recent releases)
  • ~/.supertux2/

macOS

  • ~/Library/Application Support/SuperTux/

Windows

  • %USERPROFILE%\.supertux2\
