- New branch multi-zone created with a example_multi folder
- All the code is in a folder called ‘extensions’ in the example_multi folder; the driver is called simulation.py
- The data is too big for GitHub, but there is an updated import_data.py script that builds the example data
- Implemented all the NetworkLOS Queries in the table on the wiki except for TVPB (get_tappairs_mazpairs)
- All the queries are vectorized and are all pretty performant, though they have not been benchmarked or optimized.
- Need to write the internal documentation for existing code
- There are problems with missing data that we need to discuss
- @Wu prepare TAP to MAZ and TAP to LOTMAZ
- @Ben re-build input data
- @Ben test performance of queries
- @Jeff start on TVPB queries when he returns
- We have spent ~2/3 of the project budget
- Existing contract will be amended; RSG is currently reviewing the draft
- @AMPO to issue NTP today, ahead of the amendment
- @Clint wants to make sure everyone gets their paperwork and payment in
- Please comment on Joe's governance memo by mid-next week
- @Joe to eventually update wiki Governance
- A few thoughts from the discussion:
- maybe we should create an ActivitySim Github organization instead of activitysim?
- Other new modeling software organizations include TLUMIP, VisionEval coming soon, and matsim
- There are two types of owners to better define: the project owners (such as the agency partners) and the implementation owners (such as RSG)
- maybe Zephyr will be the project owner eventually?
- maybe we think of 'owners' as sustaining members that come and go (sort of like public radio)?
- maybe Dave joining Sidewalk Labs is a good chance to work on our collaboration plan?
- having a clear development roadmap will make collaboration with others easier
- the ODOT populationSim project is an opportunity for us to work on our collaboration efforts
- @Joe to synthesize comments by next meeting
