StringExtensions.Unquote Method (String, Boolean)

Remove one set of leading and trailing double quote characters, if both are present.

Parameters

 

arg
Type: System.String
String to unquote.
quoted
Type: System.Boolean
Set to true, if arg was quoted.

Return Value

Type: String
Unquoted arg, if arg is quoted, or arg itself.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type String. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
