EnumerableExtensions.TakeLast(T) Method

Returns a specified number of contiguous elements from the end of a sequence.

Parameters

 

source
Type: System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable(T)
The sequence to return the last element of.
count
Type: System.Int32
The number of elements to return.

The type of the elements of source.

Return Value

Type: IEnumerable(T)
An IEnumerable(T) that contains the specified number of elements from the end of the input sequence.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type IEnumerable(T). When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).

Remarks

This operator uses deferred execution and streams its results.
