DateTimeExtensions.AddYears Method (DateTime, Int32, Boolean)

Returns the date resulting from adding the given number of years to this date.

Parameters

 

date
Type: System.DateTime
The date.
yearOffset
Type: System.Int32
The year offset.
useLastDay
Type: System.Boolean
if set to true, the call preserves last day of the month, 2001/02/28 => 2004/02/29.

Return Value

Type: DateTime
Updated date.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type DateTime. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
