Usign ELAN with Signbank

Externally controlled vocabulary

• How-to add a Signbank ecv to ELAN (Externally controlled vocabulary)

ELAN 4.9.4 and older versions do not have full support for downloading externally controlled vocabularies (ECV) with HTTPS. Because of this, the ECV of FinSL-signbank must be served with HTTP, not HTTPS!

Annotations in another language (ELAN)

To be able to do annotations with a different language (in English for example), you need to change the language in:

Options -> Language for multilingual content

After you have chosen your preferred language (make sure it exists in the ecv), you will have to reload the file in ELAN by closing the window and reopening the file. Remember to save your work before closing!
