Retraction

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while printer speed matches the 'Retraction Speed' within the printer profile. Enabling this feature can reduce print quality since snapshots might trigger on retraction.

First Layer

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while printer speed matches the 'First Layer Speed' within the printer profile. If this feature is not enabled Octolapse may not capture any snapshots on the first layer(s).

Above Raft

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while printer speed matches the 'Above Raft Speed' within the printer profile. Enabling this feature might compromise the connection between the raft and your print.

Prime Pillar

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while printer speed matches the 'Prime Pillar Speed' within the printer profile. In general it is safe to enable this feature for high print quality as long as the prime pillar speed is unique. This feature is enabled by default within the 'High Quality' profiles.

Ooze Shield

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while printer speed matches the 'Ooze Shield Speed' within the printer profile. Since the Ooze shield is normally a single line feature, enabling this feature my compromise the structural integrity of the ooze shield.

Default Printing Speed

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while printer speed matches the 'Default Printing Speed' within the printer profile. Enabling this feature can reduce print quality since the normal print speed can be used for many different features.

Exterior Outlines

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while printer speed matches the 'Outline Speed' within the printer profile. Disabling this feature can increase print quality greatly by preventing artifacts on exterior perimeters. It is VERY important that this feature is printed at a unique speed, and that no other slicer speed matches this setting.

Interior Outlines

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while printer speed matches the 'Interior Outline Speed' within the printer profile. The interior outline speed is halfway between the exterior outline speed and the default printing speed. In general it is safe to enable this feature for high print quality as long as the interior outline speed is unique. This feature is enabled by default within the 'High Quality' profiles.

Solid Infill

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while printer speed matches the 'Solid Infill Speed' within the printer profile. Enabling this feature can have a slight negative effect on print quality, but can allow Octolapse to take snapshots on some layers that might otherwise be missed. This feature is enabled by default within the 'High Quality' profiles.

Support Structures

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while printer speed matches the 'Support Structure Speed' within the printer profile. Since supports are generally single line features, enabling this feature can have a negative effect on support quality and stability.

X/Y Movement

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while printer speed matches the 'X/Y Movement Speed' within the printer profile. Enabling this feature can reduce print quality since snapshots might trigger on lift and move to/from exterior perimeters.

Z Movement

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while printer speed matches the 'Z Movement Speed' within the printer profile. Enabling this feature can reduce print quality since snapshots might trigger on lift and move to/from exterior perimeters.

Bridging

When enabled Octolapse will allow snapshots while printer speed matches the 'Bridging Speed' within the printer profile. It is NOT recommended to enable this feature since taking a snapshot during bridging could prevent proper bridging.
