Capistrano is a ruby gem that helps you deploy applications. You run commands from your development environment and they affect your production server. It is great if you're a developer and/or if you have multiple servers to update.
Mconf has a repository with Capistrano scripts to deploy Mconf-Web and all the documentation is kept in there. This repository is at: https://github.com/mconf/mconf-web-caphub
