For some analysis, you may simply want to compare data between urban, suburban, and rural populations. For larger geographies, the Census Bureau supports this with "geographic component" tabulations.
For the American Community Survey, there are 18 components available. At this time, Census Reporter doesn't make any of the data available, except through our Postgres database dump.
For the ACS, components are only offered at the state level and higher, and then only if there's a large enough population for that component to meet the statistical significance thresholds. For purposes of the table below, "states" include Washington, DC and Puerto Rico.
