SwellRT Roadmap

SwellRT aims to provide a dev framework to new collaboration apps strongly focused on real-time interactions and decentralized infrastructure. Also it can be seen as a platform for blackboard apps.

This is a short list of services and technologies to look at when we think in collaboration:

• Google Drive/Docs : centralized service. Separation between content and communication
• Etherpad... : centralized service. Single purpose.
• OwnCloud, DropBox... : centralized service. File store oriented. Lack of communication.
• Slack... : centralized service. Very good in communication, robots and 3rd party integration. Lack of document collaboration.
