Releases: BlackJar72/DoomlikeDungeons
Version1.14.8
The (probably) final release for Minecraft 1.12.2, and quite possibly the final release of the mod. This finally removes the "cascading world-gen" issue. This is a version that generates one chunk at a time, rather than all at once, and shifts the build location to now successfully keep the building for a chunk in the correct chunk.
Version 1.14.6
Fixed having the some code that should affect dungeon place applied to chunk building.
This should be the final, definitive version of the Chunky Update.
Version 1.14.5
Probably the final version, as there is nothing else I want to do with it, I'm not interested in newer game versions, and my absolute hatred of programming is reminding me of itself. Anyway, this has the Chunky Update, the final update where dungeon spawn by chunk, as Minecraft was intended to work, as well as needed bug fixes for that improvement and a couple final requested features.
Version 1.13.2
Version 1.13.2: Probably the actual final version as attempts at updating have failed and I grow tired of Minecraft, and of modding.
Version 1.12.3 (Final Version?)
This may be the final version of the project; not 100% definite, but pretty likely at this point.
Too much has changed since the last release was drafted, it's been too long, I can't remember all the specific changes. I will say that this mod has grown in too far more than I originally imagined. While a few originally planned features (notable variable base height between rooms) were dropped early on as not likely to improve the play experience, and a few others were later considered and not pursued (multi-level dungeons, a dungeon dimension), it numerous other features I'd not originally thought of have been added (so as adaptations and others as requests or code donations). The size, popularity, feature count, and life span of development have grown far more than I'd ever had imagined in the early days of development.
Still, all good things must come to an end. I find myself drifting away from Minecraft, both the game and the community, as other interests and outright needs come into my life. At the same time, changes in both the game and modding tools mean that the next update, if possible, would lead to steps back and feature stripping (including of some that were core from the beginning). Now it's at a high point with popularity only rising, but in the spirit of the old rock-n-roll saying, "Better to burn out than fade away," I'd rather it end at its peak and be remember or revisited for what its become than continue on in diminished and diminishing form.
Its been a great time and brought a lot of learning, and simply looking at the code and remember when, and how, and in what mindset, I'd developed different parts brings back such nostalgia. But well, we all have to let our babies go some time.

Fixes to A* -- finally fixed the failure to apply changes to the last step of the found route.
Added "naturals" -- alternative caves / cave-like areas.
Loot placement is still broken (inconsistent) in Minecraft 1.8 (works fine in 1.7.10).
