Docker LaTeX for Japanase

This is a docker image source for upLaTeX / LuaLaTeX, dvipdfmx, latexmk using HaranoAji Fonts.

Description

Supported tags (using alpine)

  • latest, 4.3.0, x.x.x: support only compile with upLaTeX/LuaLaTeX
  • 4.3.0-vscode, x.x.x-vscode: use image with vscode (supporting for vscode-latex-workshop)
  • full: support full-package (with Japanese)

Optional tags:

  • (bullseye-slim[-vscode,-full]: using debian:bullseye-slim)
$ docker pull ukitomato/latex:latest
or
$ docker pull ghcr.io/ukitomato/latex:latest

Usage

  1. if you want to compile 'latex.tex' automatically
$ cd your-workspace
$ docker run -v $PWD:/working --name latex -w /working ukitomato/latex:latest latexmk -pvc latex.tex
  1. if you want to compile 'latex.tex' manually
$ cd your-workspace
$ docker run -v $PWD:/working --name latex -w /working ukitomato/latex:latest
root@0000000000:/working # uplatex latex.tex
root@0000000000:/working # dvipdfmx latex

Example LaTeX file

Default latexmkrc Setting

This setting is used automatically. If you want to use your own settings, put the .latexmkrc file in the same folder as the .tex file.

Example Docker Compose file

  1. make docker-compose.yml docker-compose.yml
$ cd workspace
$ vi docker-compose.yml
