RDT Editor (Maps)

Introduction

Also Known as Room Data Table, this file is responsible for holding all info about an specific room - like SCD (Doors, Enemies, Cutscenes), RID (Camera Angles), LIT (Light Illumination), PRI (Camera Masks), MSG (Text Messages) and more.

Keyboard Shortcuts:

  • CTRL + O: Open Map
  • CTRL + N: Create New Map
  • CTRL + S: Save Map
  • CTRL + Q: Open map list
  • CTRL + 1: Open SCD Editor
  • CTRL + 2: Open MSG Editor
  • CTRL + 3: Open RID Editor
  • CTRL + 4: Open LIT Editor
  • CTRL + 5: Open PRI Editor
  • CTRL + 6: Open SCA Editor
  • CTRL + Left Arrow: Open previous map
  • CTRL + Right Arrow: Open next map

Current Status

For now, R3V2 isn't capable of extracting all sections from maps and does not have editors for all of them - But it counts with the best editors for MSG and SCD sections!

Export Sections

RDT Editor counts with an option to save sections in binary from what it already can extract.
You can do it via "Export Sections Menu" or "Extract / Import All Sections" buttons.

Export Sections Menu

This is a window that allows exporting each sections individually to where you want - select one of them and a save dialog will pop!

Extract / Import All Sections

This option will Extract or Import all Sections from an specific location.
It works exactly in the same way as BIOFAT - creating a folder where RDT file is located and extracting everything inside of it!
