An automatic number plate recognition system using opencv and tesseract-OCR
Flow:
- Reading the original image
- Resizing the image using imutils
- Grayscale conversion
- Noise removal with iterative bilateral filter
- Canny edge detection
- Drawing and selection of contours
- Masking the entire image except the plate
- Conversion of image into string using tesseract
