notes: ETA on feeling okay about this is probably american thanksgiving-ish, so around the end of November. really busy with life stuff atm so i probably can't get this done before then.

updated notes: i am still incredibly busy as of dec 07. i project this starting to move again over christmas break-ish. i'd like to bring us up to rocket 0.4 first, though.

Right, I don't know where you are with this, but from what I've seen so far firstly you're going about this from a "storing server journal in postgres" pov, which I think is bad, pg is way too big an vulnerable a thing to rely on.

Mastodon had the right idea holding a nosql dB for job data, and luckily that's very possible with rust using unqlite. I've a mind to implement this myself using unqlite in the next few days, after I've sorted out federation and maybe refactored the code a bit, but I've been playing around all day and I think this is actually really doable.

I need to get my head round the codebase as-is a bit more, and I don't have much free time right now, but I love this repo so happy to help out. Fancy emailing me a chat identifier btw? I think we'll need to talk about this.
