• Massively up-skilled up in email marketing — value messaging, sequencing, and the technical side of delivery. Did you know I've been doing email marketing since 2002? Also, I used to sell email advertising. Sold probably $500,000 worth of email. Now I use email mostly for prospecting & lead gen for my own offers.
  
  
• I'm maintaining no longer maintaining a List of Generative AI Writing Tools I started compiling in 2021. Too many brand new products that are over-hyped "wrappers" for generative writing; too much hype in this space. I'm back to basics; relying on foundational model APIs within my editor.

• Started working with AI in 2020 when I created a dataset on Kaggle, and used The NRC Word-Emotion Association Lexicon (EmoLex) to do opinion mining on a dataset of Google Playstore App Reviews. What I learned was that so many people knee-jerk reflexively use the terms "game changer" and "hands down" and they should punch themselves.
  
  
• My goal with this whole Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence angle-of-inquiry has been to learn to【1】write more engaging copy,【2】develop more empathetic products, and【3】design better UI components. The research that's out there gives me an evidence-based direction … plus it's fun to spin-up the AI stuff on Google Cloud.

• I led a ChickTech Workshop TEACHING WEB PROGRAMMING skills to high school students from disadvantaged communities. It went really well. I got good feedback from the students and from the Executive Director.
  
  
  • Teaching at ChickTech is my main volunteer activity, for three (3) years now.
