Real Time Chat Room is web-based chatroom application utilizing Node.js’s web sockets for seamless real-time communication between users, with modern development practices ensuring optimal performance and scalability. The Interface and server infrastructure is purely built with HTML, CSS, JavaScript allowing real time message exchange between users with ease and efficency.
Use the package manager git clone to install Real Time Chat Room.
git clone https://github.com/ritessshhh/Real-Time-Chat-Room# installs Node.js
npm install
# Runs server.js
npm server.js
Welcome to our chatroom program! To get started, simply run the program and it will automatically open a browser window. Once you're in the window, log in with any username that you like.
Now, if you want to invite others to the chatroom, simply share the same URL or IP address that you used to log in. This way, anyone can join the chatroom with a unique username of their own.
