Sometimes internet speed is slow and can cause breakage when installing pspdev from source, this is my fix for that issue

Thanks, this makes sense. The man file for pacman.conf describes DisableDownloadTimeout option like this:

Disable defaults for low speed limit and timeout on downloads. Use this if you have issues downloading files with proxy and/or security gateway.
