Sunsetting pair.ist

Due to increasing maintenance costs, and to make this project more maintainable in the long run, we have decided to shut down the instance of Pairist that lives at pair.ist on February 1, 2021.

Since the beginning of the Pairist project, there has been a single instance hosted at pair.ist. The design of Pairist v1 made it very difficult to have more than one instance, since several implementation details were tied to this domain name.

Pairist v2 was designed from the ground up to be self-deployed (and comes with several other improvements). Teams/organizations that would like to keep using Pairist are encouraged to deploy their own instance of Pairist v2.
