Unless an endpoint is configured to not allow shared connections, or there is some issue around multi-client in a third-party driver, any endpoint (including MIDI 1.0 devices) can be used by multiple applications at the same time. So far, in our testing, we haven't found any USB devices or drivers which cannot be multi-client.
