PuntAnalytics website

This repo hosts the website of my company (KVK: 93933886) "Punt Data Analytics & Web Design" using GitHub Pages. The domain is configured by Xel. GitHub Pages is used since changes to the website are automatically reflected in the website when they are committed.

Goal of company

My company offers custom-built data dashboards that visualise SQL databases or Excel spreadsheets and allow for various graphing, statistical analysis and all-round visualisation to make it easier for the end user to interact with the data. The great thing is that these dashboards are hosted online - so you can access and work with them from any (mobile) device.

How our webapps are developed

For example, you might want to visualise a detailed spreadsheet you have been working on and give professional-looking online access to it. To do this, we use the Python frameworks Flask and Dash, on which websites such as LinkedIn and Pinterest are based. These frameworks allow complete commercial use. That means you are free to use our in-house webapps for any purpose, both non-profit and for-profit.

The manner in which we host our webapps, means that we can connect this to a custom domain that could be part of a website URL you already own. For instance, if you own a domain www.mycompany.com, we could configure the webapp to be accessed from wwww.mycompany.com/webapp. We don't require access to the source files of your website, since everything happens through DNS redirection that can easily be implemented by your domain hosting service. What we offer

• Development of dynamic web applications with a unique visual style that can manipulate, visualize and save dataflows + edits for a fixed fee, i.e. you pay always a fixed fee for the requested features, independent of how much time we work. You will own the code, that is, other parties will never have access to the source code of your webapp.
• Suppport in maintaining the web application. Safety and stability updates are free for 2 years (we'll make sure the software always runs on the latest stable, supported version). Additional features can be implented for a fee (charged per hour of work).

What we don't offer

• Domain registration and hosting
• Development of full websites (HTML/CSS/JavaScript etc.)
