yt-continue

📣 Chrome extension that bypasses when YouTube asks "Continue Watching?" as well as play, pause, and skip a video with voice commands.

Requirements

• Google Chrome

Installation

Option 1 (Linux Only)

1. Download CRX file from latest release.
2. Type chrome://extensions/ in the Chrome browser top bar.
3. Toggle Developer Mode switch on from the top right corner.
4. Drag and drop the crx file to the middle of the window.

Option 2 (Windows and Linux)

1. Clone the yt-continue repo.
2. Type chrome://extensions/ in the Chrome browser top bar.
3. Toggle Developer Mode switch on from the top right corner.
4. Click Load Unpacked and select the cloned repo root directory.

How to use

YT Continue

1. Click on the green Youtube icon from your top-right extension list and ensure YT Continue is set to ON (it should be by default)
2. Navigate to https://youtube.com and start your playlist
3. Sit back and enjoy unlimited music 🎵

Speech Recognition

1. Click on the green YouTube icon from your top-right extension list and ensure it is set to ON (it will be OFF by default)
2. Ensure the YouTube tab has the proper permission to use the microphone. Follow these instructions if needed.
3. Say "YouTube pause" to pause the playing video, "YouTube play" to play the playing video, or "YouTube skip" to skip to the next song in the playlist or in Autoplay.
