Hello, my name is Katelyn Diaz (she/her) and I am a recent graduate of Smith College (c/o 23) with a degree in Statistical & Data Sciences (SDS) and Biochemistry.
Here are some of my projects that I maintain or contribute to:
- katelyndiaz/ggRtsy: an R 📦 containing easy-to-use color palettes based on Van Gogh’s most famous paintings
- moderndive/moderndive: an R 📦 designed to supplement the book “Statistical Inference via Data Science: A ModernDive into R and the Tidyverse”
- katelyndiaz/Smordle: a Python project with a Smith College-focused Wordle
- sds-capstone/IBM-Stormchasers: Uses open-source data to consolidate relevant landmarks, demographic information, and real-time weather conditions/flash flood predictor into a single dashboard to guide disaster relief resources
- NIH NIDDK Administrative Supplement at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Health Systems, studying engagement disparities within Diabetes Prevention Programs, while investigating the impact of neighborhood vulnerability on referrals and engagement, and researching physician referral disparities.
