Troubleshooting and FAQs

I am having trouble logging in to my account

Run onedriver -a --no-browser /path/to/where/you/want/to/mount/onedrive. This will save your credentials for the next time you open the app. Once you've logged in successfully, restart the onedriver GUI (if it's open) to have your new mountpoint show up.

If the process fails with --no-browser on a Business or school account you may not have permission from your organization's administrator to use third-party apps.

"Transport endpoint is not connected"

Either onedriver crashed or did not exit cleanly. Unmount and remount the drive in the GUI to fix this.

The onedriver cache (onedriver.db) takes up too much space!

Delete the mountpoint and readd it in the UI. This will free up space. I am working on making this process better in the next update.

"'GLIBC_2.32' not found"

If you see an error that says something like GLIBC_#### not found, it means you installed the wrong package for your OS. This is particularly common for Ubuntu and Debian variants: you might have installed a package intended for Ubuntu 22.10, but your OS is based on Ubuntu 22.04. Uninstall onedriver, look up what version of Ubuntu or Debian your OS is based on, and install the version of onedriver specific to your OS version.
