The goal of this project is to build unattended installation CD for Apache BigTop, Cloudera CDH (and maybe HortonWorks HDP). It helps beginner to setup single node hadoop or even hadoop clusters.
If you're just a beginner who would like to test single node Hadoop with Apache BigTop, please go to http://sourceforge.net/projects/drbl-hadoop/files/.
- Download the ISO file builded by this project
- Boot from the ISO file if you're using VMWare, VirtualBox, etc. If you're try install Hadoop to physical machines, please burn the ISO file into CD and boot from CD.
- You should select the first option for installing Apache BigTop for single node testing. If you need to setup hadoop cluster, you could choose the rest options.
