I am an AI/ML Engineer and AI Student seeking to join a passionate project!
I am currently researching Semi-Automated Cost-Efficient Large Language Model Data Preparation Techniques as part of my master's thesis. I am learning about various aspects of AI, such as deep learning, computer vision, ethics, and security during my studies in Artificial Intelligence at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology.
I apply my data engineering, analytics, and AI skills to develop and improve tools mostly in Natural Language Processing.
How many years of experience do you have in the field of AI?
I have almost 4 years of experience in AI, 2 of which are commercial.
My first exposure to AI was during my recruitment to the SC Robocik, during which one of the tasks was to propose, implement, and teach a deep model for the task of leaf classification. I managed to solve all the tasks and so became a member of the ML department in the SC Robocik where I could develop my interests. Almost 3 years ago, I was hired by the CLARIN-PL, R&D project at Wrocław University of Science and Technology, where I worked on natural language processing (NLP) tools and services. Toward the end of the project, I had the pleasure of developing a Large Language Model (LLM) based, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) dialogue system for researchers at major technical universities in Europe. The aim of the system was to improve and speed up the process of collaboration between researchers. Worth mentioning - LangChain was at a very early stage of development at the time, and almost every component had to be customized to meet our needs.
How would you rate your proficiency in the Python language?
I have been programming in Python for more than 5 years, and almost 3 years in commercial projects. I think I can consider myself to be almost proficient in Python.
I am familiar with concepts such as object-oriented programming (OOP), functional programming, and data structures. I include typing, and docstrings in my code and try to use appropriate technologies. When working with data, I try to use an iterative approach whenever possible to reduce resources and process the data in parallel to save computation time.
