=> also spent 20+ minutes trying to fix a problem with wagtail not finding my page; restarted the container and it didn't work so i tried other things. but i needed to restart the container again. so really, quite silly of me
=> individual project page's components are almost all done, just will need to hook stuff up later => adjusted home page to closer match the mockup (mostly just the gradient shadow)
=> category model => probably most of the styling and page work done => projects and news pages can be selected via the wagtail editor and a preview will show up => categories can be selected in the wagtail page editor for some news page, and categories can be managed via the snippets menu
=> individual news is basically done, styling is mostly complete, same with features, does still have some dependencies of course => individual project now can reference individual news => fixed base page header for cases with long titles

=> i thought i had made a new branch for the news page on wednesday afternoon but i was wrong
=> anyway, those pages are mostly done
=> individual project does still have a good number of dependencies, but those are a later issue
