This PR resolves some, not all of the security issues with this repo.
It also adds a
.gitignore, which effectively hides the thousands of files in thenode_modulesfolder from the student.For details, see https://github.com/gymnasium/tracker/issues/256

The issue with fractal is its dependency on vorpal, which hasn't been updated in 4 years.
Meanwhile, we should at least get this merged to that there's less security warnings thrown for students.
