Dotfiles are the customization files used in Linux or other Unix-based systems to personalize the system at your will.
To manage my dotfiles I use GNU stow (see this video). GNU stow allows me to set up symlinks of my dotfiles, while keeping my repository not in the $HOME folder. Just use
stow .These config are still quite vanilla. Nevertheless I do have some interesting tweaks added to my configs.
