1. Use static IP address on your PC ethernet interface (turn off dhcp)

   # stop network-manager service
   sudo service network-manager stop
   
   # use static ip on your ethernet interface (enp1s0)
   sudo ifconfig enp1s0 192.168.1.2 netmask 255.255.255.0 
   
   # set default gateway
   sudo route add default gw 192.168.1.1
   
   # confirm the enp1s0 interface
   ifconfig enp1s0 
   	
   	enp1s0    Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 68:f7:28:09:05:21  
   			inet addr:192.168.1.2  Bcast:192.168.1.255  Mask:255.255.255.0

2. Telnet to the router

   telnet 192.168.1.1

   # change ip addr to 192.168.100.1
   root@(none):/  vi /etc/config/network 
   
   # restart router
   root@(none):/  reboot -f 	

3. Turn on dhcp on your PC

   # remove static ip
   sudo ip addr flush enp1s0  
   
   # use dhcp client
   sudo service network-manager restart 

4. If you need ssh access

   # use static ip on your ethernet interface (enp1s0) with the new subnet .100.
   sudo ifconfig enp1s0 192.168.100.99 netmask 255.255.255.0
   
   # connect using ssh
   ssh 192.168.100.1 -l root
