OpenSuse 12.3 WebKit issue

Due to an error by the OpenSuse repository maintainers, the webkit version packaged is incompatible with Rhythmbox. If the package is installed, it will cause rhythmbox to crash when playing songs.

The strong recommendation is to remove this package.

sudo zypper rm typelib-1_0-WebKit-3_0 

To enable the coverart-browser plugin to correctly display, the enclosed picture shows the position in the code which you need to make to allow the plugin to work without crashing i.e. add a # character at the positions shown. Open the following file in your favourite text editor

~/.local/share/rhythmbox/plugins/coverart_browser/coverart_search.py

Note - the Google Covers search option will be disabled
