ForemWebView-android 💝

This is the official repository for the ForemWebView-android library which is used in Forem Android App

Design ethos

ForemWebView-android is a WebView based library designed specifically keeping in mind the Forem Android App. This library can be used by an other app to use instance of a forem in their own android app.

Setting up the library

Gradle Setup

  1. Add it in your root build.gradle at the end of repositories:

  repositories {
   ...
   maven { url 'https://jitpack.io' }
  }
}
  1. Add the dependency
  implementation 'com.github.forem:ForemWebView-android:${latest_release}'

Maven Setup

  1. Adding jitpack

Documentation

How to contribute

  1. Fork the project & clone locally.
  2. Create a branch, naming it either a feature or bug: git checkout -b feature/that-new-feature or bug/fixing-that-bug
  3. Code and commit your changes. Bonus points if you write a good commit message: git commit -m 'Add some feature'
  4. Push to the branch: git push origin feature/that-new-feature
  5. Create a pull request for your branch 🎉
