Here are some JSON layouts examples to accomplish specific things:

Custom applet buttons color

This example makes all the applet buttons red, color format is AABBGGRR.
Materials ForegroundColor must be set to white, PatchAppletColorAttrib is a new property added just for this that patches the color attributes in the bntx for the applet buttons.
