- You can download the package from the following link: https://github.com/jitsi/docker-jitsi-meet/releases/tag/stable-8319 and extract it to a folder.

Create a .env file by copying and adjusting env.example:
cp env.example .env

Set strong passwords in the security section options of .env file by running the following bash script
./gen-passwords.sh

Create required
CONFIG
directories- For linux:
mkdir -p ~/.jitsi-meet-cfg/{web,transcripts,prosody/config,prosody/prosody-plugins-custom,jicofo,jvb,jigasi,jibri}
- For Windows:
echo web,transcripts,prosody/config,prosody/prosody-plugins-custom,jicofo,jvb,jigasi,jibri | % { mkdir "~/.jitsi-meet-cfg/$_" }

Open the .env file with an editor and go to the bottom line of the file.

- Assign the WHITEBOARD_COLLAB_SERVER_PUBLIC_URL and the port for the Excalidraw room.

Run the command
docker-compose up -d
and Jitsi will be ready to use at http://localhost:8000/.
