# THIS WORKING EXAMPLE CONTAINS
#
# - A social simulation model of context switching written using the MASON framework
# - A simple example on how to configure, initialize a model and get the results
# - A package to test a JPPF grid overheads using simple dummy tasks
# - A package containing an example on how to submit social simulation model to a JPPF grid and collect the results

# JAVA PACKAGE ORGANIZATION
# The java packages are organized in the following manner:
# contextswitching: context switching model, GUI and simple model runner
# contextswitching.grid: grid clinet working example
# contextswitching.grid.performance: grid simple test to evaluate the parallel execution performance

#
# RUNNING THE EXAMPLES
# The sources are distributed as a Netbeans Project
# you can either:
# -use Netbeans to open the project and run the different classes
# -compile the sources with javac and execute the classes with java <class name>
#
#
# NOTE: to execute the grid examples you should setup a JPPF grid beforehand
# To do that you should download the GRID Administration and Monitoring Console
# the server and the node distribution
# install the server on one machine
# and run the grid node software in the machines you want to use as grid nodes
# The software can be found here http://www.jppf.org/downloads.php
#
# For more information on this consult the JPPF documentation on http://www.jppf.org
