We distinguish between three different kind of issues;
These are questions where information is requested on the (usage) of Cura. These issues will be closed when an answer is posted. If the answer is not satisfactory; it can be opened again and more details can be provided.
Feature requests will always be tagged as such and will be closed when;
- They are implemented.
- They will never be implemented by the current maintainers.
- More information is required to understand the request.
- Feature is already on roadmap (or is placed on the roadmap due to request).
Bugs will always be tagged as such and will be closed when;
- A fix is posted
- More information is required (too vague, system information, etc)
- Current maintainers were unable to replicate bug.
Some general things to keep in mind:
- If there are multiple problems, create multiple issues.
- Be specific in your issues; What is the problem, what version did you use, what OS did you use, why do you think this is a problem? What printer did you print with (if applicable)
- If the bug has influence on the print quality, post (multiple) images of the print.
- When posting new information; Reopen the issue.
