This GPT-4o powered Flask web app tells you how many calories there are in an image of a meal you upload

Quick Start

0. Rename the .env.sample file into .env and add your OpenAI API key

1. Start the server:

$ python3 server.py

2. Go to http://localhost:5000

Terminal usage

You can also use it from the terminal:

$ python3 calorie_counter.py IMAGE_FILE
