HelloWorld is an android app that shows an image and introductory message, and allows pressing a button to display a Toast.
Time spent: 5 hours spent in total
The following required functionality is completed:
- Image and introductory message displayed on screen
- Button displayed on screen
- Toast with message appears when button is pressed
The following optional features are implemented:
- Added button to say goodbye
- Changed text font
- Added frame to picture
- Changed app name to GitHub username
- Added GitHub username to app body
- Changed button styling
- Added separate toast with farewell message

Initially had issues with using a virtual emulator but I was able to troubleshoot it.
