RELIABILITY ON AWS CI/CD

6 How installing and running?

6.1 Mounting the application docker container

Open this project in a terminal. You would open "initial_sre" and then introduce the following commands:

    $ docker build . -t django-dev
    $ docker run -p 8001:8000 -it --rm django-dev
    ( $ winpty docker run -p 8001:8000 -it --rm django-dev (only if you are in windows) )

That is enough and you will have the container running with the application running.

6.2 Mounting the monitoring and dashboard visualization services in docker container

Over the main directory from dis project, open the monitoring directory, and introduce the following commands:

    $ docker-compose  -f docker-compose.monitoring.yml up -d
    $ docker-compose  -f docker-compose.monitoring.yml ps

The firs command will execute the services: Prometheus and Grafana in the ports 9090 and 3060, respectively. For prometheus, in the docker-compose you have a file configuration in .yml to initialize the service interconected with the python application and customize some metrics to get from the app.

The second command show you the status of the services after lunch the container.
