torture

Visualise concurrent requests to a particular URL.

Made as stress testing instrumentation for Bitpaper's Event Sourcing architecture but you can use it with any URL.

Why?

To effectively stress test network requests you need to do so via dispersed geographical locations. A single location/Internet connection simply doesn't have enough bandwidth.

Deploy this to a couple of geographically dispersed servers and torture your endpoint.

Usage

# clone
$ git clone https://github.com/TheProfs/torture.git

# Instal deps.
$ npm install

# run
$ npm start

Open your browser at: http://localhost:3001, enter your URL and the number of concurrent request you want to fire.

Tests

This was built as throwaway code. Hence no tests.
