Neighborhood Map Project

A single-page web application, built using the Knockout framework, that displays a Google Map of an area and various points of interest. Users can search all included landmarks and, when selected, additional information about a landmark is presented from the FourSquare and Wikipedia APIs.

How to Run the App:

1. Open the 'index.html' file then run it in any browser.
2. On the sidepanel you will see a dropdown menu containing a list of categories and below it you will see a list of places.
3. To filter the list of categories, choose the category you want.
4. To get more details about the place you can either click on the marker or click on the name in the sidebar.
