this job is done by img_auth.php

because mediawiki is accessed via root (no /wiki in url) a specific alias is required in apache2 config

also, img_auth doesn't handle properly the requested file, because it interpret "img_auth.php" in the url as a root folder, so a bug fix like this one https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:Code/MediaWiki/104150 has been performed
