This is a reference SAP Web IDE extension project, providing the recommended structure and layout. This SAP Web IDE extension project contains a single plugin to demonstrate the usage of an SAP Web IDE extension project in the context of extending the functionallity of SAP Web IDE Full-Stack on so on.
For a detailed description of the end-to-end flow for developing (build and package) and delivering (deploy) an SAP Web IDE extension on SAP Cloud Platform, please refer to the SAP Web IDE SDK.
For running this extension example, you would need the following:
- You have an account on SAP Cloud Platform.
- You have a subscription to the SAP Web IDE Full-Stack service. (Follow this tutorial to set up SAP Web IDE Full-Stack.)
To install the project:
- Open SAP Web IDE Full-Stack.
- Navigate to the Development perspective.
- Clone the webide-extension-command-example extension project. (How to clone from GitHub to SAP Web IDE Full-Stack.)
To run the project:
- Right-click the project and choose Run > Run As SAP Web IDE Extension. A new tab called Debug Mode opens with the new functionality applied.
This extension is an example of how to extend the SAP Web IDE Full-Stack functionallity. There are no configurable options for this project.
