Dette er et verktøy for å øke tilgjengelighet og lesbarhet av visuell informasjon på nettsider og i IKT-applikasjoner. Verktøyet hjelper deg med å velge paletter (fargekombinasjoner) med gode kontraster mellom fargene. Gode kontraster følger retningslinjene for tilgjengelig webinnhold (WCAG) versjon 2.1.

Verktøyet beregner fargekontraster, finner matchende WCAG-nivå, gir forslag for gode kontraster og tilbyr også et område som lar deg teste ut paletten i praksis med eksempler som ofte brukes i digital brukergrensesnitt.

Kontrastsjekkeren er tilgjengelig gjennom GitHub pages.

This is a tool to incrase accessibility and readability of visual informaiton on websites and other digital applications. The tool can support you in finding palettes or color combinations with accessbile and readable contrasts. The accessbile contrasts conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1.

The tool calculates color contrast between chosen colors, indicates the matching WCAG level to the respective success criteria, gives recommendations for accessible and readable contrasts, and offers an example maker that visualizes the chosen palette with examples that can typically be found in digital interfaces.

The contrast checker is available through GitHub pages.
