Running the Jupyter notebooks

Instructions for scribes

  • 2-4 students work together on creating the lecture notes for one given chapter. Discuss among yourselves how you want to share the work.
  • Sign up before the beginning of the lecture on the dedicated Framadate
  • Fork the git repository -- see https://help.github.com/articles/fork-a-repo/
  • Make your changes to the LaTeX file for the chapter you're in charge of.
  • Compile the PDF.
  • When the chapter is ready, make a pull request -- see https://help.github.com/articles/using-pull-requests/
  • You might want to use Overleaf, a collaborative LaTeX editing platform, which also facilitates compiling and real-time previews.
  • Follow the example given for Chapter 2.
