How to add test status in automation test in Mocha-js on LambdaTest

If you want to add test status in automation test in Mocha-js on LambdaTest, you can follow the below steps. You can refer to sample test repo here.

Configure test file

Based on the result of test execution, either lambda-status=failed or lambda-status=passed script has to be executed by the driver. This can written in the afterEach function in describe function in test file (refer to single_test.js for full code):

afterEach(function(done) {
    if (this.currentTest.isPassed()) {
      driver.executeScript("lambda-status=passed");
    } else {
      driver.executeScript("lambda-status=failed");
    }
    driver.quit().then(function() {
      done();
    });
  });

Run your test

npm run single
