Installation / Uninstallation

NOTE: Only Steam versions of the game are currently supported.

• Uninstall any previous versions of CupCore
• Downgrade your game to be LEGACY - No patches
  • Right-click Cuphead in steam library
  • Select Properties -> BETAS
  • Select the legacy No patches-branch and click OK
• Extract the release file if you haven't already
• From the extracted files run Patcher.vbs
• If the patcher cannot find the Cuphead directory, select it manually
• Hit OK on the confirmation dialogue
  • The Patcher window will vanish for the patching time
  • If CupCore is already installed, it will uninstall it
• A message will inform you when patching is done
• If you get a message from Steam asking about syncing files, select UPLOAD TO STEAM CLOUD

NOTE: When uninstalled, CupCore saves will be deleted and original saves will be restored.

Player loadout can be emptied with Control + E.
