What does it do?

While the mode is active, the app will just use the current folder (where the binary is located) for storing and loading files and folders:

• Options.Space
• StarList.Space
• OldOptions/
• OldStarLists/
• WMM.COF

While it's not active these files will be stored at the path that the OS suggests for config files like under

• Unix: /home/$USER/.config/SpaceOrienter
• Windows: C:\ProgramData\FireInstallations\SpaceOrienter

Where to find it?

The portable mode is a configuration of the SpaceOrienter app and is located in Options -> general ("Allgemein").

How to activate it?

You can set it to active by flipping the switch, or alternatively by creating a Options.Space file and insert "PortableMode": "True"
