From Idea to Market: Intro to Robotics Hackathon

Welcome to the official FTL + TI Intro to Robotics Hackathon repository! The purpose of this repo is to consolidate all materials for this hackathon. This includes:

• Materials (workshops) presented during the hackathon
• Code submissions and presentation files from each team

Submissions

Steps to submit your code and presentations:

1. Please ensure it's before 18:50 on Saturday!
2. Submit a Pull Request to this repo that includes:
   1. a folder with your team name (e.g team-ftl)
   2. a link to the public repo where your code is hosted
   3. a link to your presentation
3. Copy/paste your PR in the # pitches channel on Discord, so that organizers are aware!

Winners

Congratulations to all the winners! And to all the participants as well. We are so thankful for all your hard work and dedication.

1. First place: Good Boys:
   • For their robotic delivery service, delivering drugs to patients in the hospital. The team integrated Amazon Echo support to the robot, and when asked "who’s a good boy?" the robot’s colours lit up, and it spun around in elation!
2. Second place: Ti-Butler:
   • For their Unified solution to Chore Management
3. Third place: TeamZero:
   • For their Smart Parking Solution

Special shoutouts to SEAL who presented a contactless delivery service within the context of self-isolation and Halloween! As well as Team Hexenkraft for their Hazard Detection Robot! Amazing work everyone.
