Updating the pISO OS

Adam Schwalm edited this page Oct 10, 2018 · 2 revisions

When a new version of the pISO OS is released, updating is as easy as replacing a single file. Follow the steps below to do the update:

  1. Remove the SD card from your Raspberry Pi and plug it in to your computer
  2. Download the latest update by navigating here and clicking on the latest update.zip
  3. Open the SD card in a file browser. You should see a folder with a few contents like rootfs.squashfs and piso.config
  4. Extract the contents of the zip file to the folder
  5. Remove your SD card from the computer and plug it in to the Raspberry Pi

And your done! pISO updates are designed to be as easy as possible.
